FAQs
Who works with Matko Photo?
Those that want to be themselves. They are ok with images that are not facetuned or tweaked to where you can not recognize them. Those that can laugh and cry and smile with the eyes (if you want). Those that are self proclaimed easy going.
Where is Matko Photo located?
The great Hamilton area! I can drive to you but if you seem too far (not really a fan of big drives) I may have to recommend some other awesome photographer your way.
Retouching?
I can remove things that wont last past two weeks. Think those pesky little red friends, a bump or scratch or maybe a piece of lunch that got missed at the corner of the mouth. I will not reduce necks or any part of your body for that matter. I will not alter your current life. Your memories from the images I take, I want you to remember them truthfully.
I will enhance features you have, those beautiful eyes for example!
Matko Photo editing style?
Colourful and bold. I try to keep colours as close to they appear in life. I try and honour skin tones to the best of my ability. I try to edit like the cool kids these days but I can’t get on board with those trends.
What type of sessions do you offer?
In your home, in my home? Out and about and in the amazing studios there are these days. Studio rental fees are not included in my session rates. Sessions can be networking events, family photos, individual personality headshots, cake smashes, boudoir (let’s bring the heat), small weddings, BBQs, birthday, showers, branding. You get the idea!
